I find the idea of soul mates finding each other to be so romantic! *starry eyes* I am a huge fan of Sailor Moon precisely because of this premise. 
I thought this was a fresh take on the "fallen angel" stories that saturated the market a number of years ago. How was it different? Add dinosaurs, space ships, and an apocalypse that rivals the Book of Revelations and you have this beautiful story.

At first (just like with most fantasy books), I was a little unsure about where the story was going, and then it stuck me into its pages, into a world that I did not want to leave. The pacing of this book was perfect, taking me up high and then low, then taking me up high again! I loved the world that was created, the law system, the characters, and the plot! It mashed both sci-fi and fantasy together which is quite unique!

Woodard stuns in her series opener, The Aeon Chronicles. As a lover of fantasy, I could not put this down. As a rare reader of romance, Woodard's writing almost made me forget I was reading one. Her descriptions pop and the dialogue is natural, pulling the reader from one page to the next.

I have always had an interest in end-times prophesy and enjoyed the Left Behind Series, but never have I read a fictional interpretation of the End Times as the Aeon Chronicles. This is the book series I have been waiting for!

This was a devastatingly beautiful continuation of Woodard's otherworldly series. The writing gets better with each book and the message becomes more and more clear as the story goes on. A message of hope, love, and trust. I loved this book the most out of the whole series so far. It's at the top of my list of favorite indie reads of the year. Can't wait for the next one.
